Track & approve work
This is a web task — do it from the Orvikon web portal but it’s coming to the mobile app soon. It’s how a builder or supervisor keeps on top of work and signs it off.
Orvikon doesn’t make you go looking for what needs doing — it surfaces it.
Start at the dashboard
- Open Dashboard (the top item in the left menu).
- The Needs my attention panel is your to-do list: submitted jobs waiting on your review, blocked jobs, offers, jobs to schedule, and more — ranked, with the most urgent first.
- Click any row to open that job.
If a blocked job is nagging you and it’s the other party’s move, use the mute icon on its row — it stops bothering you without hiding it from them. Muted items live behind Show hidden.
Review a submitted job
When a trade submits, the job shows a Latest Submission section with their notes and photos, and the ticked Checklist if you set one.
Look it over, then use the buttons at the top of the job:
- Approve Job — the work’s good. The job moves on and the trade can invoice.
- Request Rework — something needs fixing. You’ll be asked to Describe what needs to be fixed (you can attach photos), then click Submit Rework Request. The job goes back to the trade to redo and resubmit. Rework includes no additional payment or compensation. For more complicated situations a subcontract to the same accepter might be more suitable

Open the History tab on any job for the complete timeline — every status change, who did it and when, with the submissions and rework requests in place.
