Keep an eye on a project
This is a web task — do it from the Orvikon web portal. It’s the wide view: how a whole build is tracking across all its jobs.
The portfolio glance
- Open Dashboard.
- The Projects panel gives you one line per project, with a count in each bucket: Draft, Active, Submitted, Blocked, Done. A quick scan tells you which builds are moving and which have work piling up.
- Flip My jobs only if you just want the projects you’re personally on.
Inside one project
Open a project (from Projects, or click its name in the panel):
- Jobs tab — every job on the project, with a Status filter to narrow it down.
- Timeline tab — the same jobs laid out by date, so you can see the sequence and spot clashes.
- Plans tab — the current plan documents.
The cross-project job list
For everything at once, open Jobs in the left menu. It’s every job across every project, with:
- a search box,
- filter buttons — Draft, Needs you, Waiting, Finished, Related — that sort jobs by whose court the ball is in, and
- a Status sub-filter within whichever button you’ve picked.
When is a project “finished”?
There’s no “close project” button. A project is effectively done when all its jobs have reached a final state — Invoiced, Cancelled, or Revoked. That’s what the Done count on the Projects panel is telling you: when it accounts for every job on the line, there’s nothing left running.
